I am trying this out but would like to introduce myself as your Mindfulness Teacher in Barcelona.
Today I’d like to write about “Why practice Mindfulness,” and I know that maybe talking about What is Mindfulness, would be best, but I will leave that for a post tomorrow.
Nevertheless, the simplest definition is that Mindfulness is the awareness that arises when we pay attention to the present moment.
The more we practice paying attention to our breathing, and all our senses, then the easier it is to be aware of our emotions.
And I think that the more emotional intelligence we have, then the better our lives are.
As a Mindfulness teacher in Barcelona, I focus on helping people to connect with their breathing, feel their bodies, make their minds quieter, and then we move on to their emotions, thoughts, and dreams.
I will be sharing more about this in future blog posts, but wanted to start today.
